Curbside Recycling Programs

CURBSIDE RECYCLING PROGRAM - Other Cities

The cities of ARVIN, DELANO, MCFARLAND, CALIFORNIA CITY, and RIDGECREST have a Curbside Recycling Program for residential recyclable materials. This program is available to residents as a part of the regular trash service. KERN VALLEY, TAFT, MARICOPA, WASCO, and SHAFTER have a voluntary curbside service.

CURBSIDE GREENWASTE RECYCLING PROGRAM

ARVIN, METRO-BAKERSFIELD (City and County areas), DELANO, MCFARLAND, and WASCO residents have a Curbside Greenwaste Recycling Program as part of their regular trash service. The City of SHAFTER offers a curbside program December through February as part of their regular trash service.

Waxed Carton or Waxed Paper

Rubber or Hard Plastics

Garden Hoses, Rope or Cords

Toys

Mirrors, Tempered Glass or Ceramics

Electronics or Household Batteries

Sharps Containers, Light Bulbs or Hazardous Waste
