Adoption of 2019 CA Building Standards Code Workshops

The Kern County Public Works Department, in conjunction with the Fire Department, is conducting public workshops to receive public
comments and discuss proposed revisions to the Code of Building Regulations due to the adoption of the 2019 California Building
Standards Code, which will become effective January 1, 2020. The Fire Department is also proposing to increase permit, plan review,
and inspection fees.
