January One-Day Residential Hazardous Waste Collection

The Public Works Department sponsors several one-day Residential Hazardous Waste Collection Events, in outlying areas, each year. During these half-day opportunities, residents have the chance to bring left-over residential hazardous waste for safe and easy disposal/recycling. If you have residential hazardous waste, these locations and dates might be the opportunity you’ve been looking for to get it off your hands and safely out of your home.

Don’t forget we also have Special Waste Facilities in Mojave and Ridgecrest! Mojave is open January 5, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. and Ridgecrest is open January 12th & January 26th from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Click Here for information about each location, the type of materials that are accepted, and transportation/handling guidelines.
