Tire Program Pilot Project

In our continued effort to reduce the illegal dumping of tires, we are embarking on a pilot project to accept up to four (4) light duty tires from residential properties, once per year, at NO CHARGE. To qualifiy for this program, the following criteria must be met:

• Up to 4 Light Duty Tires – Once per Year
• Self Hauled tires from Kern County Residential Properties Only.
• The number limit does NOT apply to loads required to comply with State manifesting requirements.
• Does NOT apply to Non-Residential Properties such as Commercial, Agricultural or Industrial Properties.
